Why can’t it just be okayRoutineMundaneAnother medical procedure that we acceptCan sometimes be necessary,Life saving,Difficult –But not always.Not every end to a pregnancy is sadSome pregnancies end in joyous birthSome end with grief for what could have beenSome end with a sigh of reliefFreedom to be a parent or not to beFreedom to choose one’s path in lifeAbortion is an act of loveAbortion is commonSafeShould not be an undue burden to accessWhy can’t it just be okayThe story of abortion is made to beBlack and whiteGood vs evilWhen it is simply a part of lifePart of a person’s reproductive journeyPart of being a humanAbortion is an act of loveWhy can’t it just be okay |
