Sterling, VA — The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) – the oldest and largest independent organization of physicians-in-training in the United States – welcomes Noreen Rich, CAE, as its new Director of Membership.
Rich has been involved in many facets of association management and is well versed in membership, marketing, communication, volunteer management and development efforts. Rich recently worked for the Irrigation Association (IA) as Senior Marketing Manager and also held the position of Foundation Director for the Irrigation Foundation.
“Noreen has a wide range of association management experience and has continually demonstrated excellent leadership skills,” says AMSA Executive Director Joshua Caulfield, IOM. “She has a proven track record of implementing programs and processes that have helped improve member recruitment, engagement, and retention. I am thrilled to welcome Noreen to the AMSA team and am confident the members will enjoy working with her.”

Rich is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), is a graduate of the ASAE Leadership Academy, and an ASAE NextGen Association Summit alumni. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association. Rich holds an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from New Mexico State University.
