Ryan Palmer is a Principal at Kennedy and Company, a higher education focused consulting firm. Prior to coming over to Kennedy, Ryan had over 15 years of experience in medical education administration, having served in several leadership capacities in multiple medical education settings, including Associate Dean of Medical Education at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Assistant Dean of Educational Evaluation and Development at American University of the Caribbean (AUC) and Director of Curriculum Evaluation and Development at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Ryan has extensive experience in programmatic assessment, design and implementation, having launched several programs for medical education, including the Transition to Clinical Medicine (TCM) program at AUC, a synchronous online education program that connects AUC students while on their third-year clinical rotations. He has a national reputation for technology innovations, and created the TeleOSCE, one the first telehealth simulations for clinical learners. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Portland State University, a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from DePaul University and a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts from California State University, Chico.
