Milena Bakalinskaya

Milena Bakalinskaya is a second-year medical student at Trinity School of Medicine. She holds a BS in Neuroscience from University of California, Riverside in 2012. Milena immigrated to the United States from the Ukraine as a refuge in 1995. She is very passionate about global and domestic affairs. In the summer of 2016 Milena traveled to Capitol Hill to advocate for the Global Fund and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. As a constituent of California, she met with members of Congress to lobby against budget cuts and to advocate for various bipartisan bills. Some of her other hobbies include knitting and running.
