Araam Abboud is a MD/MPH student at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. With a background in integrative medicine and classical studies, her goal is to approach healthcare from a human-centered perspective that challenges systemic and institutional barriers to compassionate, accessible care.
Along with her commitment to equity and social justice, she is passionate about reproductive health, particularly where it intersects with addiction, mental health, global health, and accessible abortion care. She’s dedicated to fostering solutions that prioritize inclusivity, empathy, and patient advocacy. Araam is extremely excited to join AMSA’s Reproductive Health Project, where she hopes to amplify often-overlooked voices, using multimedia and storytelling to build awareness and advocacy in reproductive justice.
