2017-2018 Community and Public Health Advocacy Coordinator
Why did you join AMSA?
I joined AMSA for the community and opportunity to use my voice in the medical student community.
Why did you become an AMSA leader?
I became an AMSA leader to be a voice for valued issues. As an MD/MPH candidate, I aspire to be an advocate for issues such as public health, health equity, and affordable health care. and being an AMSA leader is the beginning of such work. Moreover, I enjoy meeting like-minded, passionate individuals; hence, I became a leader to meet such individuals in the AMSA community.
