AMSA Announces Strategic Collaboration with NMRA to Empower Future Medical Leaders
McLean, Virginia – July 25, 2024 – The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is excited to announce a new strategic collaboration with the National Medical Research Association (NMRA), aiming to enhance opportunities for medical students and young academics in the field of medical research.
AMSA, the largest and oldest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States, has a long-standing tradition of preparing and empowering medical students to become leaders and advocates for quality, affordable healthcare. With over 30,000 members and subscribers globally, AMSA is committed to challenging the status quo and creating programming and learning opportunities that address critical gaps in medical school training.

Founded in 2022, NMRA is dedicated to breaking down barriers in research entry and facilitation, championing young scientists, and creating opportunities for development in medical research. Through educational events, a mentorship scheme, and support for independent research projects, NMRA empowers students to pursue their academic and research aspirations.
