At the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) we believe that abortion services are a vital component of reproductive health care; that physicians who provide abortion care are essential to our communities; and that their practice should legally protected and available to all in need regardless of how much they earn, who they work for, or what state they live in.
AMSA knows empowering medical students to use their unique voice to advocate for high-quality, affordable and sustainable health for all is essential to establish a just and equitable health system that can meet the needs of all in America. Medical students offer a fresh and diverse perspective into the current realities of our system and are indispensable in the fight for reproductive health and abortion access.
