Medical trainees seek clinical experiences for a variety of reasons. U.S. premed students participate in programs to enhance their medical school applications and stand out from their peers while medical students are often looking to meet educational requirements and gain the experience needed to apply for residency. When you participate in an AMO clinical experience, you’ll get all that and more. You will:
Gain a Support System
We have a team of AMO Advisors who will provide you with all the information you need to feel confident in booking your experience. They can offer you recommendations based on your individual needs and interests. Once you reserve your AMO rotation, you are immediately connected to a personal AMO Visitor Experience Coach who will guide you as you enroll and plan for your clinical experience with AMO.
Make Connections
With an AMO clinical experience, you can gain a mentor and many other connections that can help you as you further your medical career. You’ll also gain strong professional and patient communication skills—both interpersonal skills that will be foundational in your role as a medical professional.
Elevate Clinical Skills and Knowledge
A clinical experience allows you to practice clinical skills and medical terminology in a real-world setting to help you prepare for the USMLE and beyond.
