Divya Lahori

Divya Lahori is a pre-medical graduate student who recently completed a certificate in Advanced Biomedical Sciences from Georgetown University/GMU. She has a degree in Neurobiology and Physiology and an undergraduate certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. Divya participated in the AMSA Health Disparities Scholars Program in 2020 and has always been passionate about health justice and the impact of health disparities on the communities she has worked with. She is especially interested in health equity/advocacy for underserved populations and how to re-imagine the ways in which medicine is taught and practiced.
