Navya Kalia is a rising M2 at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is passionate about improving race-based healthcare disparities, such as racism in medical diagnostics, immigrant and migrant health, and Black maternal mortality. Navya formerly served as REACH Chair (2023-2024), REACH Immigrant and Migrant Coordinator (2022-2023), and President of the MSU Premedical AMSA Chapter (2021-2022). She believes that advocacy is deeply ingrained in the role of a physician and is committed to improving healthcare access to patients from racial minorities.
